Hello again! It’s been awhile. We’ve been terrible bloggers and all but abandoned this blog entirely. Fear not, there’s a reason and we’re planning on fixing that situation (not this one) right away.

As most of you probably know, Karen and I are expecting a baby this coming March. We’re super excited and are in the throws of getting as much as we can in order now so we’re ready for our new arrival when he or she gets here – that includes getting our blog going again so we can capture and share what’s going to be the beginning of some very big changes and we hope you’ll join us.

Doing so is as easy. Here’s how:
- If you’re using an RSS Reader (i.e. Google Reader), just grab this link and drop it in your reader.
- If you’re more of the bookmarking type, just go to www.teamrainert.com and add it to your Bookmarks bar.

So effective immediately, you’ll find updates from Karen and I over at Team Rainert. If you head over there right now you’ll see some new posts including: The last 7 months (my pregnancy post in a nutshell) and 2009: The Year in Photos.

The softball glove I’ve had since high school is on its last legs. I went to Paragon a few weeks ago to check out new gloves and the thought of breaking one in from scratch was really discouraging. Finding this little gem is the solution to my problem.

We tried to clean things up a bit and make the site a bit more streamlined. We also added some links along the left to other places online we find ourselves. We’re testing out a few new tools going that should make it easier to keep things more current.

There are likely some kinks still to work out (i.e. can everyone see this in their RSS readers?) so please bear with us but we’ll be rolling in no time!

In the meantime, any and all feedback is welcome.

Feb 3: Just love the idea of trying to get a sense of people’s personalities from just looking at their feet.

Feb 7: Thanks to a recommendation from Kip, we tried the Hangover Soup at Sidecar and it did not disappoint.

Feb 9: Light at Ippudo.

Feb 11: Excellent French fare and super cool lighting and decor at Robin Des Bois.

Feb 13: Thought the time of day + lighting + graffiti just worked really well together.
