… check out this awesome indoor bocce set. You could make it all “extreme” and play around your furniture, etc., too. Sasha (or a dog of your own choosing) could even be a course hazard to watch out for.

We wrapped up our most lackluster bocce season with a prompt first round exit. This season was marred by a lack of Matt on our team along with Sasha not making it to any of our matches. Though we lost the match, we still proceeded with our team dinner at our local Hibachi (get it?) [...]

In the last few weeks we have:
- Ran 18 Miles to Coney Island and back in 88 degree weather. It was terrible. Terrible. Terrible.
- Ran 16 Miles and then hopped [...]

Team Kane Street had a super busy weekend between two days of the spring bocce tournament at Floyd in Brooklyn and a baptism for Kota out on Long Island. Saturday afternoon we kicked off the first day of the tournament.
First game:
Watch Your Balls!! v. the Mamalukes.
We took them down, though I honestly remember [...]

TOAD: April 10th, 2007: Grabbed this photo waiting for the car to head over for some league bocce at Floyd. We won our match and head in to next week’s regular season doubleheader finale with a 4-1 record. After that, we hopefully head into next weekend’s playoffs with a more favorable seed than last season.

TOAD: March 5th, 2007: On Monday we went to Floyd for an alleged bocce league match. Streangely there was no opponent there for us to play so we scrimmaged for a bit and then went home with our competitive drive left unsatisfied.
It turned out that I, known to some as Captain Schedule, had completely botched [...]

Monday night we had our second bocce match of the season against Boccelism. We were down a player this week without Daya, so we knew it would be a tough match, especially because Boccelism is quite good. They may have won the last tournament, but I am really not sure, and quite frankly don’t really [...]

TOAD: February 5th, 2007: Last night marked the kickoff of the Winter Season of bocce at Floyd and Watch Your Balls!! (Karen, Sara, Daya, Matt and Kevin) was ready to roll, trying to right the wrongs from the playoffs last season.
We kicked off this season against New Kids on the Bocc - a team we [...]

This brand new bar from our friends who brought us Floyd (official website here) is really top notch. Luckily Karen and I just moved to Park Slope - so [...]

This weekend was the Spring bocce tournament at Floyd on Atlantic Avenue. Our team, Watch Your Balls!!, had a not so awesome record of 2-6 going into the playoffs. Last week we kicked off the tournament when the team we were supposed to play didn’t show up. We love forfeits! The remaining part of the [...]
