TOAD: July 11th, 2007: This little dish is something I put together this summer called Hippy Surprise.
0% Fat Greek Yogurt
diced strawberries and/or peaches
granola (either Bear Naked or Fresh Direct’s fresh granola work great)
a squizzle of honey
Makes for a fantastic breakfast.

TOAD: July 10th, 2007:
Dear Apple,
Why am I unable to resist your siren call, despite my knowing better about Revision A products? All I did was use my [awesome] new iPhone the way you told me too and my battery was drained before I had a chance to say “CoverFlow”. After two appointments at the [...]

I actually don’t have much to add about the Need for Speed race aside that it was awesome fun. Getting up at 4:15 isn’t sweet, but hanging out with a group of old and new friends was definitely great times.
Here Alex hands off the rfid “baton” bracelet to me. I love how serious he looks [...]

TOAD: June 5th, 2007: Here’s Sasha loving Prospect Park in the morning. She’s had a toe injury for the past week so we haven’t been going to the park (and hence haven’t been seeing a lot of smiles). As much as she obviously loves (and needs) the park, I forget how much I like [...]

TOAD: June 3rd, 2007: Do hobos even exist anymore? Either way, cooking things this way rules. Try it with fish, chicken, vegetables… anything! The pouch on a grill gives you the best of all worlds - gilling fire for heat, boiling in its own juices and also achieving the steaming effect since the pouch [...]

TOAD: May 26th, 2007: Karen and I went to the Red Hook soccer fields to enjoy some good cooking and ended up with what I have to say is the absolute best quesadilla I’ve ever eaten. The fields are surrounded by vendors selling real south american cuisine at exceptionally reasonable prices. This time we had [...]
