Final TOAD post 2007: Dec. 26th-31st
January 13, 2008 by alex
So this is the final installment of my yearlong photography project, Take One A Day. 365 photos later I can say that I would recommend a project like this to anyone who wants to get more comfortable and aware as a photographer - it’ll change the way to take in the world around as you move through it.
That being said, I’m going to switch it up a bit in 2008 with a new photo project - I’m hoping to have the details squared away in the next week so stay tuned.
To get your Take One A Day fix in 2008, check out Karen and Manlio’s take on the project.
Now, onto the last set of photos…
TOAD: Dec. 26th, 2007: This was the biggest fake tree I’ve ever seen.
TOAD: Dec. 27th, 2007: These Christmas elves sure are friendly, no?
TOAD: Dec. 28th, 2007: This window in the street on Bleecker gives you a glimpse into Murray’s Cheese Shop cheese cave. I like really the transparency of process this creates.
TOAD: Dec. 29th, 2007: I just think these phones look funny. You’d think some company would make a business out of dressing up that empty space a bit, no?
TOAD: Dec. 30th, 2007: Another nice ad for the New Museum.
TOAD: Dec. 31st, 2007: I finally got a chance to check out Local Projects’ StoryCorps project in Grand Central - a really beautiful piece of work. Check out this Print Magazine piece on them to get some more information on them and I highly recommend you delve deeper into their work as they’re doing some of the best, and most meaningful, experience design out there.
