Usable Designs

A design blog I read posted about a sweet bag today. We’ve all seen picnic blankets that roll into bags, but this one actually looked like a bag you could tool around with all the while packing in drinks or your laptop without it screaming “I’m going on a picnic! I’m going on a picnic!”
So I clicked a little further to find out more about it and was brought to the designer, Demelza Hill’s website, and found she has quite a few other nicely designed items. They’re all somewhat ITP-esque (in a non-technical way), but they are really well executed, though seemingly not for sale. I love how her work is a nice balance of usable products and art. I am a huge fan of the second hand glasses here that she reworked:
