Finally we get to the stadium

TOAD: July 31st, 2007: Thanks to Mo organizing an ITP Past and Present group outing to Yankee Stadium, Karen and I were able to enjoy our first game of the year in person. For those who don’t remember, this was one of the games where A-Rod was stuck on 499 home runs so every time he came up to bat, everyone stood up and a million flash bulbs went off - looked awesome. This was also the game where the Yankees pounded the White Sox with 8 home runs, none of them for A-Rod though.
First off, we caught a glimpse of the new Yankee Stadium set to open in 2009.
Karen and I went splitsies on sandwiches from Crosby Connection, of course! All other sandwiches better recognize!
Here’s a quick snap of Ozzie Guillen getting tossed about 4 minutes into the game.
Johnny Versace over here took freaking it up a notch.
Mo comes prepared! He was doling out bags of snacks like a seasoned camp counselor.
Apparently Yankee Stadium now serves sushi.
Who wants sushi when you can have some of this though!?
We sat next to the non-alcoholic section, which may as well have been called the no fun section. Look at these guys! Could they look more bored? Let’s go do shots!
