Office Summer Jam

TOAD: July 27th, 2007: Last Friday Karen and I headed up to the Upper West Side for my company’s summer picnic at our founder/CEO’s abode. I was excited for Karen to get a chance to meet a bunch of the people I work with so she could see how nice they are as well as put faces to the names in the stories I tell.
(The photo above was taken from below to super cool deck at the house)
When I was a child nerding out with my weekly visits to the Natural History Museum’s dinosaur exhibit, this was one of my favorite stores in town - Maxilla and Mandible. So many great science things in here!
This is Milo. He’s an excellent dog who sadly got stepped on a couple of times during the festivities. He seemed to make it up to himself by grabbing some snacks that were left unattended - I caught him with a full hot dog - complete with bun + ketchup - in his mouth, as though he had prepared it himself.
How cool is this scale?
This was either “More than words” or “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”.
This was not only celebrating the 20th year of the company but also the birthday of its founder.
See all the photos here.
