Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose!

That’s right, the Taylors are probably going to be back with us in the Fall! Phew! There were rumors that Friday Night Lights may be cancelled, but according to this post on TV Squad, it looks like my favorite TV family (that’s right, more favored than the Cohens) will be back soon.
For those of you who didn’t tune in this past season, I obviously recommend checking it out next fall. It is one of the best tv shows I have watched in years. It has everything: great writing, great acting, and great characters. You know, the kind of characters you root for every week.

I’d read a few weeks ago that NBC had bought 6 more episodes, but this looks like they’ve committed to full season, which is good news. I do wonder what they’re going to do with another season, though. Stick with the team, or stick with the characters? I think that season one was the best single season of television I’ve ever watched, but I’m sorta worried that additional seasons won’t be able to recapture that.
