Happy Birthday, Sasha

TOAD: April 10th, 2007: Today was Sash’s 3rd birthday and in celebration of that fact we made two trips to Prospect Park for some off-leash time. In addition to our smaller celebration, dogs throughout the city celebrated the fact that the NYC Department of Health codified that very same off-leash policy (woo!).
We started with our usual early morning visit and then went for a surprise (and as I later discovered, illegal) post-work off-leash trip. For the latter, we met up with Karen at the subway, picked up some hot beverages and headed to Prospect Park for what we though was the post 5pm off-leash time (also, yester. As it turns out, its actually 9pm (who goes to the park at 9pm, no matter what time of year it is?!). Sasha seemed to really enjoy the extra group trip to the park and the sunlight made for some surprisingly nice photos.
