Easter Surprise

Alex and I spent the whole weekend cooped up in our apt with some cold-flu thing—we love to share. We missed Easter dinner with our families, including the special guest stars, the California Bonnas, who were only in NY for the week, and my Mom’s cheesecake.
While making a daily stop on flickr yesterday, I spotted Dennis Crowley’s delicious looking Easter basket and got all sorts of jealous, because despite being nearly 30 years old, my Mom still gives me something each year that resembles an Easter basket. Don’t laugh! Candbury’s mini eggs are the best.
Around 5 o’clock last night though, the gift mobile (Vicky) showed up with a basket filled delicious West Village and Bronxville treats from Amy’s cupcakes to Cadbury’s mini eggs (only found after visiting three drug stores). It was an Easter miracle.
Dennis, take note that our basket did not come with deoderant.

i got the mini-eggs too! they are rad.
