On Tuesday, August 28th, Judge Peter Kelly will make a decision about observing or revoking off-leash hours in NYC parks. Let’s hope he agrees with Ted Kerasote, Op-Ed Contributor for the New York Times, who makes some excellent points about off-leash hours in today’s paper.
Here is how dangerous Prospect Park looks on any given Saturday before 9 a.m.

So glad to hear you treasure Offleash Hours in NYC parks. You might be aware that this 20-year policy is under attack by a lawsuit currently in NYS Supreme Court that threatens to end Prospect Park and all other NYC park Offleash Hours forever.

Yes, I am very aware of the lawsuit and I am quite familiar with your web site! Our dog, Sasha, is a regular at Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Heights dog run.
